Grace and peace be unto you. On behalf of the Board of the Temple Hills Coalition of Pastors, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Central Baptist Church family on the passing of your beloved Pastor and our President, Pastor Lincoln Burrus Jr., who transitioned on December 31, 2026.
Pastor Burrus was a faithful and respected servant of God, husband, father, leader, and a man of unwavering integrity.
As President of the Temple Hills Coalition of Pastors, he led with wisdom, humility, and a deep commitment to unity among the churches. His vision, compassion, and dedication to Kingdom work strengthened our coalition and enriched the communities we serve.
To Central Baptist Church, Pastor Burrus was a devoted shepherd, a teacher of God’s Word, and a spiritual covering whose leadership reflected Christ’s love. His life and ministry leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire faith, service, and perseverance in the days ahead.
He will be truly missed. Keep the Burruss, Central Baptist Church and THCOP in prayer as we navigate this season of loss.
